The significance of seventh house in Vedic astrology By Pt. Dr Hitesh A. Modha

Seventh House:
In the seventh house of Vedic astrology Saptama-sthan, Jamitra ; Chittottha (desire) ; Kama ; Dvuna (love) ; Madha (passion) ; Gamana (cohabitation) ; Astha (setting ; Advan (a way or road ) ; Loka (public) ; Kalathra (wife or husband) ; Pathni; pathi; Kalathrasampat (dowry). Business, specific consultancy, or specialist in consulting field, alignment and joining together

The seventh house is the "House of union or earthy ties". The seventh houses symbolize legal bondage; it is through this that one ought to divine about marriage. Although marriage is principally the concern of the seventh houses, it is necessary to consider the houses 2 and 11 also in this respect.

By marriage, it is meant that there is an addition to the family. The second house includes father, mother, wife, children, etc. The married partner brings permanent tie of friendship for progeny and pleasure which is influenced by the 11th house. Therefore, one has to examine not only the seventh house but also the houses 2nd 11. Houses 2, 7 and 11 connected with benefic planets either by association or by aspect denote that the partner in life will come of a respectable family, be virtuously disposed and will possess good qualities to enable one to lead a happy and harmonious wedded life.

Besides the life partner, the partner in trade or business and the degree of success achieved through such partnership is also shown by this house. The seventh house also refers to all those with whom the native is engaged in quarrels and comes into conflict in the open through arguments, those with whom the native is engaged in quarrels and comes into conflict in the open through arguments, litigation, duels, etc., in a nut shell; the seventh house may be said to indicate all those with whom the native transacts or deals in any manner- the engineer or contractor who builds ; the doctor attending on the native or the patient on whom the native attends if he happens to be a medical practitioner ; the person who lends the native money or he who borrows from the native; and so on. Good aspects to the planet in the seventh house or to the cusp or to the cusp of the seventh house portray good relationship with the public and favor from them. During the period of the planer in evil aspect, one ought to be careful in undertaking any public activity.

This house shows break of journey. The third house signifies short journeys and the ninth hose denotes long journeys. The seventh house indicates visits to various places in one and the same trip. One’s influence in foreign countries and the honor and reputation achieved there, depends on the planet in the 7th house and the aspect it receives.

The first house of Vedic astrology denotes longevity while the 7th house opposes and is a maraka house; i.e., danger to longevity. Houses 8, 3 and 1infiunce longevity and one has to examine these three houses to determine whether one will be long-lived, or will live up to the middle age, or only up to the adult age, or die in infancy. The twelfth house to any bhava is said to be negation of that particular bhava, that is to say, it spoils the matters signified by that bhava. Therefore the houses 7, 2 and 12 which are respectively in 12 to houses 8, 3 and I prove inimical to longevity and are so termed 'marakasthanas'.

In prasna or Horary Astrology, this house answers queries relating to the recovery of lost property, describes the thief, pickpockets, etc. the lagna represents the owner of stolen property. The fourth bhava denotes the place of the stolen article. The 7th shows thief. The 8th bhava being 2 to the 7th indicates the thief's wealth. So when the planet in 7 or the lord of 7 is eclipsed or weak, the thief will be caught. The lagna represents one's routine life and thereby permanent place of residence; the seventh house which is the opposite to it shows change of residence. One ought to see the seventh house as will as the third for the change of residence.

In Mundane or politics in Vedic Astrology, the seventh house is considered in matters pertaining to international relationships and arbitrations; war and foreign affairs, international trade, general condition of women and laws relating to marriage and divorce, public reaction to national policies, public meetings, etc. westerners call this the house of open warfare and enmity as well as of treaties and alliances.

The seventh house is also regarded as dealing with the native's third brother or sister. The third house from the lagna indicates the first younger brother or sister; the house which is the third to the third sows the second younger brother; the house which is the third to the 5th house represents the third younger brother or sister. It is also the house of self acquisition of the native's servant or employee, being the 2nd house counted from the 6th representing servants. Because the 5th house shows the first child or conception, the7th which is the 3rd to the 5th represents the first child's younger brother or sister or the native's second child; the 9th denotes the third child and so on in this manner. Being in 4 to the 4th house indicating mother, the 7th house deals with mother's immovable property, vehicle, etc .According to Uttara Kalamritam, and the 7th house rules the adopted child. This is understandable because one who is issueless may take his younger brother's child in adoption. This is not uncommon.

The seventh house of Vedic astrology also denotes the secret enemy's danger, difficulties, death etc., being in to the 12th house; the religion, long journeys, higher education of friends or elder brother being the 9th reckoned from the 11th house; the honor and credit of the Governments being in 10 to 10; associates and friends of father being the 11th house to the 9th. The native might enter into partnership with his father's friend.

In Sanskrit, Sagittarius is called The Bow (“Dhanu”). In the west we draw it as a Centaur Archer aiming high into the sky. Thus the energy of Sagittarius inclines one to seek high and noble goals.

Like the 9th House, the 9th Sign Sagittarius is considered a very fortunate sign to philosophy & religion.

(10)Capricorn -- "Makar"
Capricorn is Saturn's feminine earth sign of growth. It concerns itself not with the frivolities of others, but only with ones own success or failure through hard and dutiful work.
Saturn rules Capricorn.
Capricorn is an earth sign. This inclines one towards being very practical, cautious, hard working, and oriented towards making money.
Capricorn is a growth sign. This makes it easy to adapt to new situations, but difficult to remain steady in situations you would like to keep.
Capricorn is a feminine sign. This inclines one to take energy inwards, to be introspective, to be emotionally absorbed, to thrive on emotional support and attention, and to have good critical skills and a pessimistic slant.

In Sanskrit (the original language of the Vedic Astrology), Capricorn is called “Makar”. The Makar is a mythical water creature which resembles a crocodile in the front and a dolphin in the back. In ancient India, The Capricorn Zodiac symbol is half Makar and half deer. So envision a dolphin like tail, crocodile rear legs and the front half of a deer.
What this tells us about Capricorns is that they can embody many different things in one being. The same Capricorn person will be both peace-loving (like a deer) and viciously brutal (like a crocodile). They will be both refined (like a lovely deer) and debased (like a mud soaked crocodile). Etc.
In Western Astrology the symbol of Capricorn is a goat climbing to the top of a tall mountain. Though this symbol is not Vedic or Hindu in origin, it’s meaning is compatible. Capricorns are workers. If their horoscope is strong, a Capricorn can work extremely hard to achieve lofty goals that other people would consider impossible to achieve.
Capricorn is the 10th Sign of the Zodiac, and is thus akin to the 10th House: connected to work and career.

(11)Aquarius --"Kumbh"
Aquarius is Saturn's masculine water sign of stability. It seeks to help others by its hard and dutiful labor, and is willing to suffer as a result.
Aquarius is ruled by Saturn.
Aquarius is an air sign. This makes it easier to be quick & smart, it helps one appreciate the value of having fun, and inclines one towards an occupation involving sales and money making. But in the scope of Saturn’s nature, these things are made more somber and one attempts to use them dutifully.
Aquarius is a fixed sign. This gives stability and responsibility, but makes it more difficult to accept new things. Saturn’s nature enhances the “fixed” nature of Aquarius, and together they further dampen the “air” nature of this sign.
Aquarius is a masculine sign. This compounds everything above, and makes it even easier to give energy outwards towards others with humility and intention to be of service. It slightly improves Saturn’s normal pessimistic energy.
A person carrying water-pots is the symbol of Aquarius. Making the clear that the main direction of this sign is labor to benefit others.
Aquarius is the 11th Sign like the 11th House it is concerned with fulfillment of desires.

(12)Pisces --"Meena"
Pisces is Jupiter's feminine water sign of change. Its philosophical, complex emotions are deep, but difficult to express and clearly identify, even to oneself. Thus there is much indecision.
Jupiter rules Pisces.
Pisces is a water sign. This attracts one to opportunities for liberation (“moksha”) or escapism, lends emotional sensitivity and mystical perceptivity, and associates one with religion and philosophy. Jupiter is conducive to this.
Pisces is fickle sign. This inclines one to desire change & newness, and makes gives one a capacity to embody opposite traits or reconcile opposed principles. Jupiter's philosophical influence often causes Pisces to become eclectic and non-committal.
Pisces is a feminine sign. This inclines ones energy to flow inwards, to be introspective, to be emotionally absorbed, to thrive on emotional support and attention, and to have good critical skills and a pessimistic slant. Jupiter is just the opposite - this again indicates Pisces dual nature - indecisiveness on the direction of energy flow.
Two fish swimming in opposite directions symbolize Pisces, enhancing its fickle quality of indecisiveness.
Like the 12th House, the 12th sign Pisces is connected to reincarnation, non-materialism, and sexuality.

Can any premises (Vastu-dosh) defects Cause diseases? ..By Pt. Dr. Hitesh A. Modha ----- A studied by Dr Hitesh Modha

In long years of research , I have examined the regularities of the bio-energetic field of a plot and of a building and have shown that it interacts with the bio-energetic field of the body. Therefore, it is legitimate to look for the connection between vastu defects and the manifestation of specific diseases.
The causes of many diseases are cannot be clearly scientifically described. Cancer is such a disease, the causes of which are very much connected with the mental or psychological state of the patient. Therefore it does not come as a surprise that the bio-energy of the living area called vastu can influence the manifestation or healing process of cancer.
I found out that especially the state of the northeast of the plot and house is closely and south-west corner is with Vastu-dosh connected to the manifestation of cancer. The northeast represents the mind and the psychological constitutions of the vastu bio-field. If there is a defect in the northeast, the mental monitoring of the bio-field is interrupted so that the energies of the field may lose control and act in such a chaotic way. In the northeast there is the head of the Vastu-purusha and therefore all control and monitoring of the whole field is done from there. Same other factor south-west  is very strong for vastu-dosh cause that it side create radiation at after noon and evening on free flow,  In Vastu Shashtra  considered that all direction and corner has own element from five basic elements and its arrangement in interior and exterior area of any premises. If any inimical arrangements are place at any corner or direction it creates Vastu-dosh gradually. Building absorb all energies, by cosmic ways  after than all energies transform to human body by various ways, like  cooking, any chemical processing in chemical plants or factory, watching the TV, water storage or supplying ……. List is long. The south-west create many sub-radiations by combination with natural radiation and our inimical placement’s as above. If we want, to be a total healthy, We should not ignore the line from north-east to south-west its called Ishansya ksha rekha..
Cancer is a disease in which the multiplication of cells gets out of control, as the intelligent communication between the cells has been interrupted. Similarly, a Vastu defect in the northeast may cause such chaos in the bio-energetic field of the living area that it may be transferred to the inhabitants if they have such a disposition.
The resonance through which the disease is able to manifest itself in the organism of an inhabitant is caused by the presence of yet another vastu defect in another sector of the living area. Which organ will be affected by the uncontrolled growth of the cells depends on which sector the second serious defect affects.
For cancer to manifest itself in a certain organ there must be at least two serious vastu defects in two sectors also affecting the northeast. It is only then that the influences exerted on the cells my prompt them to lose their equilibrium.
The following list is based on the examination of numerous cases of cancer and it assigns certain vastu defects to a certain kind of cancer which may manifest due to the defect. It is very brief for just understands us.
Correspondences between vastu defects and cancer:

The northeast is rounded off, the northwest is closed,  with any inimical arrangement in south west corner
Cancer in the area of the breast; the lungs of other organs in this region may be affected, highly pressure of blood, anxiety, lose of sleep
The northeast of the house forms an acute angle, in the west of the plot there is a hollow any inimical arrangement in south west corner and
Development of cancer in the area of the head and throat………………..
The northeast, the east, and the northwest are higher; defect in  Marm-sthan of East and NE area,  the southwest, the south and the west are lower: and any inimical arrangement in south west corner
Brain tumor or Hyper thyroids ……………..
Defect in the northeast, defect in the southeast: defect in  Marm-sthan of East and NE area and any inimical arrangement in south west corner
Breast cancer,  disease in lactating  woman, mammal problem in young lady or girls menstrual problem in virgin,  ………………………
defect in the south-west and any inimical arrangement in south west corner
Cancer of the uterus, bach-ache and broken bone often, accident,  ……………..
Defect in the northeast, defect in the south-west of the  and any inimical arrangement in south west corner southwest
Kidney cancer, nephritis, veneral disease ……………………
Defect in the northeast, defects in several sectors around it, and defect in Marm sthan  and any inimical arrangement in south west corner
Leukemia
Defect in the northeast, defect in the west  or defect in central area (Brahm) and any inimical arrangement in south west corner
Stomach cancer, diabetes, liver cirrhosis…………

I underlines that the corresponding defects must be very grave to lead to the manifestation of a disease. If you find one of these constellations in your house, you should try to correct it yourself.
It is advisable to consult an experienced vastu consultant who should find out which of the defects are indeed so serious that they might threaten the health of the inhabitants. If the defects are not so grave, they will not influence a healthy person. However, if they are very serious, an expert vastu consultant will be able to tell you what means you should apply to eliminate the problem. Or you can contact by me by cell phone 9879499307

The Moon …. The psyche A studied by Dr Hitesh Modha

The Moon, the luminous favorite of poets and lovers alike and main interest of scientists, is not any less important in astrology. The Moon is believed to be the queen of the planetary kingdom; with Sun being the king. In this article we will explore the Moon from the Vedic Jyotish astrological perspective.
The Moon is the smallest planet; it is smaller than the earth and is only 250,000 miles away from us; its influence on earth and its inhabitants is immense. The sexual urge in human-beings and animals is found to be intimately connected with the different phases of the Moon. In fact, the significance of the Moon is so great that it is called Chakshusi, eye-sight. The Sun and Moon are considered the two eyes of the universe. The Moon is so important in Vedic predictive astrology that it is used as an ascendant, and all transit predictions are made from the position of the Moon. The Moon's natal position decides the planetary periods and is a very powerful predictive technique that other astrological systems do not have.
The symbol of the Moon, if carefully considered, is the most unknowable one and the planet itself is not less so. The symbol of ever-rising arcs signifying the surge in the psyche resulting from the downward pressure towards materialism, and upward attraction to divine unity may reveal much more dangerous and vulnerable influences flowing from the Moon. The stability and growth of a human being largely depends upon his psycho-mental nourishment and wellbeing. The Moon symbol in a very simple manner shows the mystic nature of the planet and its relationship with the Sun.
The Sun is the soul of the Universe and our, and the flow of the Sun's rays is channeled through the Moon. The Moon does not shine with its own light but reflects the life-giving energy flowing from the Sun. The Sun is giver of life to the whole planetary system, while the Moon specifically directs life to our globe. The Moon being a reflecting medium, it is incapable of causing any real harm. The life-giving quality of the Moon makes it "born of water," for water is the element which sustains all living creatures. The Sun represents the positive polarity, the father principle, whereas the Moon represents the mother principle. She is passive, womb-like, protective, strengthening the growth of her progeny, taking interest in every action of her child. The qualities of the Moon emphasize its role as the universal principle, capable of producing good or evil depending on its associations with other planets. Astrologically, the Moon strengthens any planets associated with her except Saturn, which stifles the blossoming life-energy at every level.
The moon represents all emotions of human being and all secretion of human body and glands also. It give a medicinal power in Herbs therefore  The Ayurved give significance to   Pusya  Nakshtra,  for make the medicine or pick the herbs from plants. And also very famous n popular Rituals PUNSAVANAN VIDHI for male child and child less couple. it is  due to by the moon.  The moon manifests inner mind of every individuals according to zodiac sign. And also it gives a detail study of every individual’s mind. Like a behave pattern and perceiving from out side of its home and whole world.  The moon influenced person are very sentimental and emotional to all ways of him life. But the moon sign and ascendant are same in horoscope or fifth house or eleventh house situated moon person are very sharp intelligent and emotional matured. No one can bit them in easy or hard ways. And moon person are highly caring persons.   The Moon reflects the joy and sharing that comes with having peace of mind, though an afflicted Moon indicates the neglect and withdrawal we experience when faced with losing that peace. The Moon is the soul descended into matter, which it experiences through the sense mind and body. It is where we are the most easily hurt and the most vulnerable. The Moon shows the quality of our nurturing and our capacity to nurture others. It shows the clarity of our perceptions and how they are distorted as well as our basic desires to have peace of mind. The Moon is like the window we are looking through. Whatever affects the Moon, deeply affects our life and outlook.
The influence of the Moon in different signs as calculated by Vedic astrology may be as follows :( very briefs)
Aries Moon: Courageous, passionate, unsteady in mind, and liked by women.
Taurus Moon: Tolerant, popular, firm in friendship, loved by ladies, happy in middle and end of life.
Gemini Moon: Psychologist, scientist, ambassador, fond of women, sweet in speech.
Cancer Moon: Astrologer, reliable and loyal friend, owns houses, gardens. It bestows a placid heart and motherly affection.
Leo Moon: Energetic, few children, women-hater, proud, angry, diseased stomach, teeth and mental agony.
Virgo Moon: Sweet-tongued, intelligent, clever in arts and scriptures, begets daughters and resides in a foreign land.
Libra Moon: Wanderer, rich, contented, helpful but rejected by relations, worshipper of gods, priests and holy-men.
Scorpio Moon: Respected by Royal family, sickly and concealed of sins.
Sagittarius Moon: Poetic, liberal, intelligent, inherits property from father, hates relations and is won over by fair means.
Capricorn Moon: Enjoys pleasures of wife and children, showy in charity, lazy but learned, popular, wanderer, incestuous, shameless, cruel and miserly.
Aquarius Moon: Muscular build, adulterous, unhappy, hypocrite, and debaucheries.
Pisces Moon: Learned, fond of wife and clothes.
Indeed a whole volume could be written on the influence of the Moon in a horoscope. Like the main musical notes which ultimately produce great musical vibrations and different symphonies, these basic characteristics of the Moon are considered to be fundamental in Vedic astrology. Ancient sages of India considered the Moon to be of greater significance than the Sun to the evolution of mankind. This is why they remarked, and rightly so, that Hindu Sarvatra Bijavaha which means that the Moon is the seed of all astrological problems. Therefore the Maharshi have emphasized the careful judging of the Moon. Essentially, the Moon reflects the psychic core of the individual.            We will discuss in next easy about   How the moon related with modern psychology very deeply and emphasize.

The Human Psychology from Vedic Astrology by Dr Hitesh Modha

We know Psychology very well. It is study of the inner mind by out line of behave of a one’s experience of life.  In Vedic age, Vedic Darshan explore three different modes means Tashir of human psychology.  Our Maharshi of Jyotish-Ayurved have done very genius and finest work on various subject accompany with one theory. After the many year’s keen research they classified basic 3 three Tashir-Attribute on mental level. It is main root of study of human mind.
1        SATVA – The primary characteristic of this Tashir is transparency. This mode influences people to think clearly and calmly, “Level headed”. It enables us to experience life more objectively, seeing things for what they are.
2        RAJAS - The primary characteristic here is passion. Passion colors the clarity of the previous mode, sattva. “See the world through rose colored glasses.” This popular saying points to a person whose emotions influence the way they experience life. Rajas is not objective or level headed, it is passionate and ambitious. It lacks patience, but has tons of drive and power. It is the fuel of creativity.
3        TAMAS - When the coloration becomes very thick, it becomes a cloud and creates darkness, the keyword to describe this psychological mode. This is the psychological night. It brings calmness and sleep. Relaxation. It is slow, but deep and heavy. It is very strong, so when it becomes linked with anger, destruction occurs.
I experience it is very important to eliminate the implied value conclusion from the outset. May people who acquaint themselves with these Vedic astro- psychological principles assume that clarity is better than passion, and darkness is worst of all? This is wrong.
All the form has their important uses. Without tamas you can not sleep, for example, and you would die. Without Rajas you can not wake up in the morning. Without satva you would just chase your passions everywhere, leading to tears in the mode of darkness. So you see, all three modes are interdependent. A lot like “Rock, Paper, and Scissors” – each of the three has its uses as well as its faults.
That said, we have to acknowledge that Satva is the ideal leader of the other modes. When a person allows the mode of clarity to lead and direct their passions and their relaxations, then this person truly enjoys long term happiness and success.
These three psychological modes almost never exist in a pure and pristine form. You rarely if ever will encounter anyone or anything which is purely and exclusively in any one of these three modes. Rather you will find infinite blends of the three. The color theory is very helpful to consider here. Think of Sattva as yellow, Rajas as red, and Tamas as Blue. These are the three primary colors. Combination of these three in different proportions results in the infinite colors of the spectrum.
Every individual you meet, every situation you are in, is a unique blend of these three primary colors – creating a unique experience in the spectrum of life.
Implications
Much like how Ayurved (Vedic medicine) defines “health” as a balance between the three principles – circulation (Vata), metabolism (Pitta), and structure (Kapha) – similarly vedic psychology defines “mental health” as the proper balance between the three modes: clarity, passion, and darkness.
However what is very important to achieve psychological health is to allow sattva - the mode of clarity – to take the role of leadership and guidance in your life. Your clear thinking will give proper direction to both your desires to succeed and your desires to relax. To put it succinctly, proper “balance” is not sustained until the mode of clarity is allowed to direct the other two modes.
It is a long, enjoyable, and gradual process for a person to learn to give his or her sattva the steering wheel. The vedic psychologist acts as a guide for this.
A vedic psychologist will assess the modality of a persons’s psyche. They will determine the current combinations of the three modes, and identifying that, will advise the individual which modes are out of balance with the other modes. Each individual will have a somewhat unique way of achieving the balance – and this is where the psychologist becomes a true artist.
Additional Reading
To benefit from Vedic psychology, your psychologist must very deeply understand the three modes and their implications and connections. To give such understanding here in a single article is beyond the scope here. But I will point you towards the 14th Chapter of the  Holy Bhagavad Gita as an excellent starting point.
Assessment
There are various means of assessing the inherent balance or imbalance in a person’s psyche. Vedic medicine is very linked to vedic astrology, and so to is Vedic psychology. We utilize astrology as both a diagnostic tool as well as a guide to the appropriate therapeutics.
Each planet and sign has a psychological mode. By “sign” we mean the 12 zodiac signs everyone is familiar with – Aries, Taurus, Gemini, etc. But we also mean the 27 signs of the lunar zodiac, with which most modern westerners are not acquainted. I will list them here.
Planets and Signs
The agents of clarity (sattva) are
·                                 The Sun, Moon and Jupiter
·                                 Cancer, Leo, Sagittarius and Pisces
·                                 The dvi-svabhava (dual) natured signs – Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. (Thus Sagittarius and Pisces are thoroughly sattvic, while Gemini and Virgo are partially so)
The agents of passion (rajas) are
·                                 Venus and Mercury
·                                 Aries, Taurus, Libra, & Scorpio
·                                 The chara (cardinal) natured signs – Aries, Cancer, Libra & Capricorn (thus Aries and Libra are thoroughly rajasic while Cancer and Capricorn have this quality blended with another)
The agents of darkness (tamas) are
·                                 Saturn, Mars and the two Nodes (Rahu & Ketu)
·                                 Gemini, Virgo, Capricorn, and Aquarius
·                                 The sthira (fixed) natured signs – Taurus, Leo, Scorpio & Aquarius (thus Aquarius is purely tamasic while the others are hybrids)
Lunar Signs
The modes of the lunar signs are more detailed and rich. Each lunar sign has three layers of modality. The deepest layer describes the core interest of the sign, the middle layer describes the flavor of that interest, and the outer layer describes how it visibly acts.
The first 9 nakshatras (lunar mansions) – the ones falling within Aries to Cancer – all have passion as their root interest. They want to create! The next 9, falling between Leo and Scorpio, all have darkness as their core interest. They want depth and strength. The final 9, falling between Sagittarius and Pisces, all have clarity as their root interest. They want to understand things for what they really are.
Within each group of 9 are subdivisions of 3. The first 3 have passion as their second layer, flavoring the way they pursue their core interest. The next three have darkness, and the final three have clarity.
Finally, each lunar mansion has it’s own modality on it’s outermost layer. The pattern repeats starting at the first lunar mansion with passion, the next being dark on it’s outer layer, the third being clear. And so on through all 27.
How to Interpret
You should evaluate two factors:
1.                The Ascendant (this means including the condition of the Ascendant Lord)
2.               The Moon
Obviously, the Ascendant will describe the psychological modalities which physically manifest themselves in the natives practical world – their habits of eating, sleeping, being clean, being punctual, etc. etc. The Moon, on the other hand will describe the modalities which affect the way the patient all emotions and feel, thinks
First asses; the Lunar Mansions, that they are so rich in information all by themselves. My ascendant is in Uttara-shada. This lunar mansion is sattva at the core, rajas in the flavor, and sattva in it’s manifest expression. As you would expect I am very concerned with having a tidy, neat, orderly living environment – I live according to schedules and checklists, etc. And I do it all with a passionate flavor.
The the Lord of my Ascendant is in the lunar mansion called Krittika. This one is rajasic in it’s core and flavor, but sattvic in its outer way of going about things. So you find a rather pure blend of clarity in my outer layers. So you know that I go about my daily practicalities in a most methodical and organized fashion. The flavor of it all (2nd layer) is purely passionate – so you know I am very passionate about it. I get disturbed and upset when my organization and clarity is infringed upon. My root nature is a blend of sattva & rajas – so from this you can safely infer that the reason why I am passionate about being organized, etc. is because I feel that it will help me fulfill my passions to know things clearly for what they really are.
Looking at my Moon – she is in Rohini – which is a lunar mansion that is rajasic at its core, tamasic in flavor and rajasic again in how it appears on the surface. Sure enough my mind is very creative and passionate – and I have a sort of dark, deep, and inflexible flavor about it. Because it is rajasic on the outer level as well as the inner level it is obvious to people that I am passionate emotionally and creatively, and that is just the obvious way my mind works.
Other Techniques
As you see, merely consulting the lunar mansions alone gives you a whole lot of very accurate information. But if you are good at astrology you can go further. Here is an outline.
1.                What are the signs that the Ascendant occupies, in the birth chart, in the navamsha, and in the drekkan? Consider the modal nature of those signs.
2.               What planets conjoin the Ascendant in the first house – what modalities to they contribute?
3.               What planets aspect the Ascendant, and how strongly to they do so? Consider the modal nature of those planets
4.               What planets are in the 10th House?
5.               In the 4th & 5th House?
Weight these with descending strength, moderately.
Repeat the process for the Ascendant Lord (for simplicity you can omit steps 4 and 5 here) – blend the two together, the values you have ascertained for the Ascendant and the values you ascertained for the Ascendant Lord.
Repeat the process, all 5 steps, for the Moon. (So step 4 means, what planets are in the 10th sign from the Moon? etc.)
Consider the scores you arrive at in this way alongside what the lunar mansions told you on their own.
Now you have a good psychological profile for the person whose chart you are evaluating. This is where the science sort of fades out and the art and skill fades in – now you need to help the person achieve their optimal balance based on what you have just assessed as their psychological starting point.any doubt or question about it or you want to consult me as a Vedic astrologer -Vastugna  you can call me on my cell 09879499307 or visit my site www.ishanastrovastu.co.in
